PRE-LAUNCHFSN has not opened to families yet. Until it does, everything entered here must be invented — no real information about a real child or a real family.

About Family Support Navigator

Built by a parent who knows how hard it is to find the right help.

Family Support Navigator began with one family’s experience navigating a child’s complex medical, developmental, educational, and support needs — and with how much of that experience turned out to be paperwork.

Why I built FSN

Our child entered the world extremely early and spent months in the NICU. As the years went on, our family learned to navigate ongoing specialist care, developmental needs, feeding challenges, therapies, autism, educational supports, insurance questions, and the paperwork connecting all of them.

We learned how much time a family can lose simply trying to find out what help exists. Grants, therapy assistance, equipment programs, scholarships, respite, education support, travel help, and community resources are scattered across organizations, government systems, nonprofits, and websites. Many families discover them only through another parent, a therapist, a social-media group, or by accident.

And finding the opportunity is only the beginning. Then come the forms, the same questions asked again and again, supporting documents, deadlines, eligibility rules, follow-ups, and the need to explain your child’s history one more time to one more organization.

I created Family Support Navigator because parents already have enough to do.

Why this matters to me

I am not building FSN because families need another website or another list of resources. I am building it because I know how much time a parent can spend searching, repeating the same information, and trying to make systems work together when they were never designed to.

Every hour FSN can save a parent is an hour that parent can spend with their family instead of searching websites, filling out another form, or explaining their child’s story for the tenth time.

If FSN can help a family discover support they would have otherwise missed, prepare a better application, or arrive at a new provider with the important history already organized, then it is doing what I created it to do.

What I want FSN to change

My goal is simple: help families spend less time searching, repeating themselves, and rebuilding information they have already provided.

FSN is being built to help parents discover legitimate support they may never have known existed, understand which opportunities may actually be worth pursuing, prepare stronger and more complete applications, and reuse approved family information instead of starting from a blank page every time.

And the same idea applies to medical transitions

A family should not have to reconstruct years of important history from memory every time a child changes doctors, specialists, therapists, hospitals, or other providers. That is what the Care Passport is for.

What FSN will never pretend to do

  • FSN does not guarantee grants or benefits.
  • FSN does not make medical decisions.
  • FSN does not replace a clinician, a medical record, a lawyer, or a benefits professional.
  • FSN does not submit or sign anything on behalf of a parent.
  • The family stays in control of what is recorded, reused, and shared.

Tell your story once.

FSN uses the information you approve to look for support, to prepare applications, and to help you carry the important parts forward — and never goes further than you say.
